My friends at Lit Riot Press and Radio Free Brooklyn have shown me the value of community and vulnerability – that’s how you get your best work done. Here’s to the beginning of the next chapter- 2016! To every person that is supporting me, thank you for being here – you have a crucial role in the thriving of this creative and intentional world we are building together! Listening and Trusting

Sail, sweet daughter, sweet sister of mine Reach out to where the waves break and remember Our time The things we held, created, and everything we searched for and found What we let go of To become more ourselves To stand face to face with ego, with the wind our words flew I will never again search those seas for your eyes, for my heart, for our sister souls Side by side, through each rising and falling tide Entering into a blue lagoon, still and glowing with the sun’s light Here I’ll pause, remembering sailing, and stare down to the bottom of the clear And wonder what will rise What is rising, colorless, effortless, from nothing at all, into life, into the shadows and light Sail no more, but stop, and find out What is next... read more

Enjoy Your Now

Just found a bunch of old iphone voice memo’s of improvised tunes, lyrics and original songs I had completely forgotten about. Here’s an excerpt from one of the lyrical improvisations: “You’ll die an old, old man – live a long, full life, angry with none, and loving the light.”    ... read more

Enter the Mystic

Kale House

To say my life at the kale house changed me would be an understatement. calling the kale house home…   Take everything you know about community and human connection… And then light it on fire, bury it in a garden of kale, and feed it only the finest organic locally grown California nutrients, and watch gold grow from ashes… The kale house brought out the most absurdly honest version of myself. Sometimes I felt like I was glowing and sometimes I felt like I was invisible. Everyone had a missing piece and everyone had a diamond, and together we were rich and complete. I owe my experience to something higher than the wood and cement and dry wall and marble.. Something larger than the bank account taking care of the rent… Something deeper than any of that. I believe that love guided me through those winding wooded roads and up the path on warren drive. Love, The Spirit. . still leading... read more
